The Private Enforcement of the Competition Rules in the European Union – A New Starting Line? - Competition Policy International (CPI)

Here are a few remarks on how good will be the new measures proposed in June 2013 by the European Commission, for the development of the private actions for damages in the European Union.  I could say that I was generally disapointed but it is also fair to say that the European Commission is not an obstacle to the private enforcement (inadequate national legal provisions are).  The Commssion has also more concerns than hopes arising out of the private enforcement.
